That can be a problem with house brands like Quantaray lenses; since it's a Ritz Cameras brand, they have a lock on the parts. This isn't much different from the position most camera manufacturers take with consumers; they prefer to sell parts only to established camera repair businesses. As I see it, you either have to give up and let Ritz repair it, or determine who made the lens and see if that manufacturer will sell you the part. It may be that the Quantaray lens is identical to a model being made by the actual manufacturer and the only difference is the brand name. But you may find the original manufacturer unwilling to sell you the part too.
