: Has anyone experience of the F100 and F90x - I'm undecided
as to which one to buy. I was interested in the f26 databack for
the f90x imprinting aperture, speed etc but have read the
autofocus isn't the best. With the F100 the autofocus is supposed
to be spot on but in some reviews images have been underexposed
slightly.
: Please help!!
I have both, so I guess I can give a fair judgement.
The F100 is indeed superior to the F90X, both in AF speed,
construction and built-in options, and the 'underexposure
problem' is more of a hyped up thing than a reality.
But as said, the F90X is a steal at the prices it's being
offered, and IMHO it isn't that inferior to the F100, nor is it's
AF slow, as you can see on the Streetpage of my website. And if
you buy it instead of a F100 you'll money left for lenses etc.
So in the end it's between you and your wallet, and your
ambitions, buy what you can afford, and consider how far you want
to go with photography.
Good luck
