I inherited a Canon T50 and have been taking pictures via trial and error as far as lighting. Of course the camera did not come with a manual and my attempts to discover what the limited function settings do have been futile. The only thing I notice is a flashing red M in the viewfinder when the shutter is depressed half-way. Is there any hope for me? I used to own a Pentax k1000 years ago with a primitive light meter and would love to have some way to know what light conditions I'm dealing with again. This hunt and peck, learn by error, estimate everything approach is driving me crazy. Help
I plan on purchasing a new camera shortly but would at least would like to know what I have in my hands right now. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
God Bless Wallyworld 14
