: I have an older model Ricoh XRP and the mirror is starting to stick. I was told that Ricoh no longer has replacement parts.I was also told a Pentex could take all of my lenses (I have acquired many over the years)I am just looking for a good replacement body. Can you make any suggestions?

Joanne, The mirror rebounds off of a thin foam strip on many cameras. When the foam gets old it gets tacky. When the mirror goes up and hits the foam cushion it can stick there for a bit before dropping back down. Take the lens off and check it. Check your foam that runs along the film door hinge also. If it is tacky when you touch it the camera needs a basic Clean and re-foam to fix your problem. Hope that's all that's wrong .. Frank
