I have a Canon AE-1 Program which is beginning to
squeak every time I take picture. I have heard that
this squeak is a lubrication problem on the mirror
escapement bearing. I have also heard that this
problem can lead to inaccurate shutter speeds at
500-1000 fps, which will creep down to the lower speeds
with time and cause eventual bearing failure. Does
anyone know where this bearing is, or where I can find
schematics for an AE-1P?
