Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone familiar with these the Quantum flashes and the Lumidyne bare bulb could give me a comparison of the two esp. regarding features and versatility? I haven't yet been able to actually put my hands on either. I've been told the Lumidyne is the more versatile but am wondering how, as I know the Q-flash can be used both as a bare bulb and as an on camera flash. I want to be able to have a bare bulb to mimic the sun's specular highlights in outdoor photography but am also interested in the Q-flash's on camera ability ... I currently use a Metz ... is the powerpack for the Q flash as heavy as the Metz's? Any info would be appreciated and feel free to email me privately if this isn't of general interest. Thanks!!
