Be sure to read the other two messages posted by others trying to
address your long series of questions. (One guy was so
enthusiastic he posted his answer four times - I removed three of

I strongly suggest that you invest in a user manual for the Minolta X-370 to get full benefit from your aunt's several hundred dollar gift. John Craig at Craig Camera sells reprinted and original manuals for the Minolts X-370 for $15 and $20. http://www.craigcamera.com/ib_min.htm (hyperlink is below.) I notice that there is also a manual for a Minolta 370n so make sure you order the right one.
