: I am trying to do heritage albums for my kids. I was trying to find a less expensive method to copy our photos than the photo copy machines at Walmart etc. I have run across a lot of the old 3x5 and other odd size negatives for my pictures. The only photo lab that says they'll do the old negs t wants $5 a picture. When you add up all the copies I need it is too much! Does anyone know where to get them developed cheaper or a better method of copying old photos (I have the original photo for most of these) Thanks.

You don't say whether these are color or black and white negatives. If they are color negatives, then you are probably stuck with custom labs. If they are black and white negatives, perhaps you can find someone in your community with a black and white darkroom who would be willing to make prints for you at less cost.
