I just wanted to share a concern that I have with Clark Color labs newer marketing tactic. Clark is now claiming you can send them your film for development in their new envelopes which have "no postage necessary" stamps where you normally would affix 2 or 3 stamps.

If you look at the development prices with the "older" Clark envelopes, the rate for developing a typical 4x6 24 exposure has gone up from $2.98 (you supply postage) to 3.58 (they pay postage). This $0.60 cent difference is negligable if you are only getting one roll developed since postage would be 0.66 but Clark begins to net a nice little profit if you send them more (eg. old way (3 rolls x 2.98 + 4 stamps x .33 = $9.60 vs "free postage" way 3 rolls x $3.58 = 11.85. Clark nets 2.25 because of their new method.

Bottom line. Complain to Clark OR send them one roll at a time.
