: i just got into photography, what equipments do i need to make sepia photos from ground zero? does those COkin filter lense do the trick? and does anyone know any instant film processing system? thanks a lot
There are two basic ways to produce sepia photos:
1. Using Black and White film developed using the c-41 process.
This means making sure the film uses c-41 to start with. This
film would be taken to a regular film lab for processing just
like colour film. Tell the technician that you want sepia
coloured prints.
2. Using conventional black and white film, process the film in
your darkroom, then process the prints in sepia toner after the
developing/stop bath/fixing is finished.
If your reference to 'ground zero' means that you want to find
out how to process film, there are many good sites that describe
in detail how to do this. Try www.Kodak.com
