"They
made me do it!" This guy wants me to look at his photography and the first thing he says is he can't see very well? Okay, I'll admit it, I was morbidly curious. I went. I was surprised. And I've been back several times since. Perhaps Alan Babbitt shouldn't be driving your car (his own admission) but when it comes to photography, he can see quite well, thank you. His vision is clearer than most people born with 20/20 eyesight. Alan can write too. In a funny, irreverent, self-deprecating style, his latest invitation promised me "70 new photographs in all, sure to make you ooooh, aaaaahhhh and go 'What the heck is that?' " For the photo collector out there, an "early Babbitt" would make a wonderful addition to any collection, sure to appreciate in value and significance in the years to come. Read Confessions of a Photo Addict then spend some time perusing Alan's online gallery. Be sure to sign his guest book and you'll be notified when there's something new to enjoy. |
