Agfa discontinued sale of ePhoto digital cameras and the SnapScan, DuoScan and Arcus desktop scanners during 2001. Three years later in 2004 Agfa divested all photographic activities and licensed the Agfa brand to independent AgfaPhoto.

Epson makes the 3.3 megapixel PhotoPC 3100Z digital camera, with 3x optical zoom and interpolated 4.8 megapixel images; uses CompactFlash memory cards. Epson digital cameras use Print Image Matching to guarantee top quality prints with Epson ink jet printers. Industry giant Fuji makes FinePix digital cameras, more than 10 models range from 1.3 to 3.1 megapixels, several with optical zoom lenses. Two digicams offer 6 megapixel interpolated image files. Older models use SmartMedia cards. Newest Fuji digital cameras use the ultra-compact xD-Picture Card. Manufacturers of digital camera accessories, APS film scanners and traditional photo products.
Manufacturers of more than a dozen PhotoSmart digital cameras, ranging from 1.3 to 4.3 megapixels, offer optical and digital zoom lenses and use CompactFlash memory cards. The HP PhotoSmart product family includes photo scanners, film scanners, and photo quality inkjet printers, ink jet cartridges, paper and media. HP makes digital projectors for business presentations and home theater use.
Hitachi makes DVD camcorders which capture video directly to Mini 3" DVD discs. Several models are available. Hitachi does not offer digital still cameras.
iClick brings spontaneity and fun back into photography. The easy-to-use iClick digital camera looks and feels like it costs much more, captures jpgs at three levels of compression, features built-in flash, 8mb onboard memory and takes CompactFlash cards too. Filed for bankruptcy in 2003 and ordered liquidated in 2005 by the Federal Bankruptcy Court. Former licensee of the Bell + Howell brand name for some models of Bell + Howell digital cameras, apparently were not the licensee for other B+H models being sold directly on the web by one of those "As Seen on TV" marketers. Web site had details on the BH21 and BH41 digital cameras, and the low end BH23 webcam / digital still camera and digital video camera. Jazz also markets their own branded multi function PC web camera.

Manufacturers of photo equipment and supplies, Kodak makes digital cameras from 1.3 to 3.1 megapixels resolution for quality digital prints up to 8x10. The EasyShare System lets you place compatible Kodak digital cameras on a camera dock, pictures are transferred to your computer, camera batteries are recharged and an indicator light signals when it's ready. Models use CompactFlash, and SD/MMC memory cards depending on digicam. Digital camera accessories, inkjet printers and papers, film scanners, etc.
Konica and Minolta merged in 2003. In January 2006 Konica-Minolta Holdings Co announced they were quitting the camera business immediately. Camera repair obligations were transferred to Sony Corporation. Konica made Digital Revio cameras and also manufactured 35mm/APS film scanners, several inkjet papers, film and more.
Manufacturers of Yashica and Contax. Kyocera Finecam digital cameras weigh less than six ounces "are among the smallest and lightest 3.2 and 4.0 megapixel cameras in their class." Up to 3x optical zoom lens, stylish stainless steel bodies. Digicams use Secure Digital (SD) or MultiMedia Cards (MMC) for memory, the same media cards used in MP3 players and PDAs. Epson's Print Image Matching (PIM) technology ensures digital images print perfectly on Epson Stylus photo printers.
