My AE-1 feels like the shutter is cocked, but the shutter release button does nothing. The advance lever moves about 1/4 travel. The mirror is down, but can be lifted up freely. I'm using a Lithium battery which measures a little over 6 volts. I've taken the bottom off and no gears or levers are jammed. Is this an operator error, electical, or mechanical problem. Any suggestions and or trouble shooting techniques?
