"Garry's Camera Repair" will overhaul your camera for $50 plus s/h. Even that price is close to the value of a "perfect" 3xi. You might be better opff to find a nice Maxxum 5 to replace your 3xi with. If you liked the 3xi, you'll love the Maxxum 5. You'll still be able to use your present accessories and lenses.
