I have a Sony Handycam Video8 camcorder (CCD-F301). I bought a Hi8/Digital8 cassette, and tried to record. It looked fine in the playbak in the viewscreen, but when played on a TV or captured on my computer, it had horizontal bars of gray and the color was all off. Can this camcorder use Hi8/Digital8 tapes, or do I need to find video8 tapes?
